Hi, I'm Ben – a proud queer man, passionate knitter, crocheter, and indie dyer of wool. Yarn isn't just my medium – it's my language, my therapy, and my way of building connection in a sometimes chaotic world.
Crafting came into my life when I needed it most. Like many, I’ve faced my share of mental health struggles – anxiety, depression, the pressure of not always feeling seen or understood. When I picked up my first pair of knitting needles, I had no idea how transformative that simple act would become. Stitch by stitch, I found a rhythm, a sense of calm, and a safe space to be myself.
Knitting and crocheting gave me structure and purpose. Dyeing wool opened a whole new creative world, letting me play with colour, emotion, and self-expression in ways that felt both freeing and healing. My work is often inspired by emotion, queer joy, quiet resilience, and the vibrant beauty of the LGBTQ+ community.
Crafting isn’t just a hobby for me – it’s a lifeline, a celebration, and a quiet rebellion against the idea that softness isn’t strength. Whether you’re here because you share a love for the fiber arts, you’re looking for hand-dyed yarn with a story, or you're simply curious – welcome. You’re in good company.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
